Four Named to MASCAC Football All Conference Teams
Westfield, Mass. — Anna Maria’s Nikolay Boyce and Mass. Maritime’s Jackson Mahoney are the 2025 MASCAC Football Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year and headline the 2025 MASCAC All-Conference teams as voted on by the coaches from around the league.

Boyce, a freshman from Naples, Fla., has burst onto the scene for the AMCATS in his first season with the team to earn not only MASCAC Offensive Player of the Year but Offensive Rookie of the Year honors as well. Helping them to a regular season title, Boyce finished the regular season first in the MASCAC in total yards with 2,605, yards per game with 260.5 and touchdowns with 32, third in completion percentage at 58.2 and fourth in yards per attempt with eight. His 32 touchdowns broke the Anna Maria single season record for touchdown passes which included three games with five or more scores.
Taking home the 2025 MASCAC Defensive Player of the Year honors is Jackson Mahoney. The junior from Falmouth, Mass. was a solid defensive presence for the Buccaneers, averaging 9.2 tackles per game with a league-leading 54 solo tackles for 92 total on the year. He added four sacks for a total of 29 yards with one interception and a fumble recovery. One of his best games of the year came in the Cranberry Bowl win over Bridgewater State where he recorded 10 total tackles, nine solo, with two sacks, two tackles for loss, a forced fumble, a pass breakup, and a quarterback hurry.
Sean Quinn of Plymouth State is the 2025 MASCAC Offensive Lineman of the Year honoree. This is Quinn's second All-Conference award after winning in 2024. The senior tackle from Norwood, Mass., helped the team finish atop the conference in several categories, including rushing touchdowns with 33, total rushing yards with 2,107, yards per rush with 5.2, rushing first downs with 119, total scoring with 332 points, yards per game with 337.7 and total yards at 3,377. The Panthers had the second-fewest tackles for a loss and sacks in the conference.
Rounding out the major award winners is Jorden Woods of Mass. Maritime, the 2025 MASCAC Defensive Rookie of the Year. Woods, a freshman defensive back from Cocoa, Fla., tallied 39 tackles with 31 of them solo, three pass break ups and an inteception on the year. Twice this season he finished with six tackles, including the win over Fitchburg State and Westfield State.
After leading the Panthers to a share of the MASCAC Regular Season title, Paul Castonia of Plymouth State was voted the 2025 BSN Sports Coach of the Year.
