Worcester, MA- The Worcester State University Football Team wrapped up their 2022 season today traveling to Framingham to take on the Rams. The game, initially scheduled for Saturday afternoon, was moved to avoid the expected storm. The rain came a bit earlier than expected resulting in a soggy finish for the team in their Friday night showdown.
Worcester, MA - Worcester State Football continued the Worcester trend of Westfield matches, hosting the Owls for their final home contest of the 2022 season. The Lancers began the game by honoring their 12 graduating seniors who have each had an incredible impact on the program. Westfield came into the game looking for their first win of the season, while the Lancers were looking to grab their second win of the season.
Worcester, MA – Senior Aaron- Moses Williams (Springfield, MA) had a stellar performance behind center for the Lancers. He completed 26-of-38 passes for 301 yards and three touchdowns on the cool Sunday afternoon in Danbury, CT as the Lancers took on the Western Connecticut Wolves in a MASCAC battle. The Lancers were a strong force throughout the duration of the game before a final drive in the fourth quarter saw them fall 38-35 to the Wolves.
Worcester, MA - The Lancers hosted the Plymouth State Panthers in another MASCAC showdown at Coughlin Field Saturday afternoon. Two touchdowns in the 4th quarter were not enough for Worcester State as they took a tough loss to the Panthers.
Worcester, MA - The Lancers returned to Coughlin Field Saturday afternoon to take on Massachusetts Maritime in MASCAC action. Despite Worcester State’s late push in the 4th Quarter, they were unable to complete the comeback and fell to the Buccaneers.
Worcester, Mass. – Worcester State passed for 171 yards and rushed for 70 in the loss this afternoon at Bridgewater College. Quarterbacks senior Aaron-Moses Williams (Springfield, MA), six completions for 83 yards, junior Mike Loveless (Nashua, NH), three completions for 36 yards, sophomore Adam Hill (Luneburg, MA), two for 31 yards and first year Cam Ayotte (Millbury, MA), two for 21 yards, combined to lead the Lancers offense for a combined 241 yards of total offense in the game.

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Football team began their 2022 season at home Friday night at John F. Coughlin Field with a cross town match up with WPI. It was a tough back and forth battle for both teams before WPI managed to pull away in the second half for their first win.
Worcester, MA- A total of 1,218 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Fall/Winter 2022 All-Academic that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann. Worcester State led the MASCAC with 190 Student Athletes named to the Fall/Winter 2022 All-Academic Team.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Football program, headed up by fourth-year Head Coach Adam Peloquin, officially announce their 2023 Football schedule. The Lancers aim to improve upon their 1-9 record from last season with the help of a seasoned team of returners. Offensively the Lancers will be guided by the quick feet of junior Nico Holmes and strong arm of senior Mike Loveless, who is primed to take over the starting quarterback job this season. Their protection will be led by junior Austin Michelson who will be anchoring the offensive line. On defense, Worcester will be helmed by senior third year captain John McMasters, who is set to continue as a middle linebacker come the fall. Along with McMasters, junior Dom Annese and senior Curt Marshall will look to make their mark on the defensive unit after a strong offseason and secondary work highlighted the high caliber of their defensive ability.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Football team wrapped up their fall season with senior defensive lineman Sam Duah Jr. (Worcester, MA) and senior defensive back Noah Peterson (Millbury, MA) being named to the MASCAC Second Team Defensive All- Conference as announced Thursday by the Conference. The All-Conference teams are voted on by the coaches in the conference at the conclusion of the regular season.
