Minneapolis, MN --- Senior Bryan Narcisse has been selected to the D3football.com All-American team as announced on Friday evening just before the start of the NCAA Division III National Football Championship game.
Worcester, MA --- The Gridiron Club made the perfect choice for this year's winner of the Baronian Award, which recognizes lifetime contributions to New England football. Brien Cullen has happily dedicated most of his life to Worcester State football, and over the last three decades has coached, mentored, tutored and nurtured hundreds of players who have gone through the program.
Little Rock, AK --- Senior Bryan Narcisse has been named a nominee for the Cliff Harris Award, which is presented to the best small college football defensive player in the nation. Narcisse is one of five nominees from New England and one of 18 who were tabbed from a Division III institution.
Minneapolis, MN --- Senior teammates Bryan Narcisse and Casey Hippert were both selected to the D3football.com All-East region team in a vote by a panel made up of sports information directors from around the region.
Boston, MA --- Worcester State head football coach Brien Cullen has been distinguished with the John Baronian Award by the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston for his lifetime contributions to New England football. Cullen will be presented his award at the annual Gridiron Club banquet on Thursday, December 18 at the Marriott Hotel in Burlington, Mass.
Manchester, NH --- Senior Casey Hippert along with junior Bryan Narcisse and teammate Kemani Jones all received a nod to the New England Writers Division II/III All-Star team as announced by organization publicist Roger Crosley.
Worcester, MA --- Worcester State had seven honorees placed on the All-MASCAC football team in a vote by the leagues nine head coaches. Second-team selections included defensive-end Zack Skerry, linebacker Sean Hanley, defensive back Mike Goulden and placekicker Sebastian Paz.
Framingham, MA --- Framingham State used a fourth-quarter outburst to defeat Worcester State, 29-14, in MASCAC football action this afternoon at the Maple Street Field. Senior Sean Hanley forced a fumble and picked off a pass to lead the Lancers defensively in the loss.
Danbury, CT --- Senior Bryan Narcisse has been selected Corvais ECAC Division III New England Defensive Player of the Week for his outstanding efforts in a victory against Westfield State this past weekend.
Westfield, MA --- Junior Kemani Jones finished with 226 yards of total offense, which included for 169 yards and two touchdowns, as he helped lead Worcester State to a 35-22 victory over Westfield State in MASCAC football action this afternoon at Alumni field.
Worcester, MA --- Worcester State has scored 30 or more points in all six of its wins this season and is averaging a MASCAC-best 38.1 per game — numbers that are credited to the offense on the stat sheet — but the Lancers' defense has helped put many of those points on the board.
Worcester, MA --- Junior Kemani Jones amassed 191 yards of all purpose yardage which included 170 yards on the ground and two total touchdowns to help pace Worcester State to a 36-3 victory over Plymouth State in MASCAC football action this afternoon.

Danbury, CT --- Freshman Sebastian Paz has been recognized as the Corvais Co-ECAC Division III New England Special Teams Player of the Week for his solid efforts in a victory over Western Connecticut on Saturday.
Danbury, CT --- Worcester State used a late field goal with two seconds left to defeat Western Connecticut, 52-49, in MASCAC football action. Senior Mike Goulden recovered a fumble in the end-zone for a score and forced another miscue to set-up a fourth-quarter score to lead the Lancer defense.
