Westfield, MA — A total of 1,005 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Winter/Spring 2024 All-Academic team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Athletics Department has five named to this years Spring MASCAC Sportsmanship teams. Selected were Baseball's Mason Bates, Lacrosse's Hannah Leahy, Track and Field's Giovanni Casiano and Eryca Lopes and Softball's Sarah Gosselin. 34 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) student-athletes have been honored for their outstanding sportsmanship as members of the 2024 Spring Sportsmanship Teams.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Baseball team’s senior Ben Smith (Bourne, MA) was selected to this years MASCAC First Team as a starting pitcher. The Worcester State Baseball team (11-28, 9-12) finished their season falling in the MASCAC Quarterfinals after defeating #3 seed Framingham State in the opening round of action.
Worcester, MA- After a thrilling day of Baseball yesterday that saw Worcester State (11-27, 9-12) defeat Framingham State 2-1 to advance to the double elimination quarterfinals before falling in a back and forth battle to Bridgewater State, 16-7. The Lancers would return to action, this time at Salem State, to take on the Westfield State Owls (26-15, 13-8) in a loser go home battle.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Baseball team (10-26, 9-12) open up their post season play this afternoon in a moved up game versus Framingham State (16-18, 14-7) in the 6-seed versus 3-seed single elimination battle, with the winner advancing to the MASCAC Quarterfinals versus Bridgewater State (23-14, 14-1) later in the afternoon. Worcester State aims to avenge the first round loss to Mass. Maritime, coincidently played at Framingham State last year, in this year's postseason battle.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Baseball team (11-26, 9-12) would leave little time for the dust to settle from the MASCAC First Round game versus Framingham to switch gears and focus on grabbing an early lead in the double elimination bracket with their MASCAC Quarterfinal matchup against the second seeded Bridgewater State Bears (23-14, 14-1). The winner of the game will advance to the winners bracket at MASCAC semifinals tomorrow at Salem State at 3pm, while the loser would head into the second elimination of the MASCAC Quarterfinal at 11am. The last time these two faced off Bridgewater claimed the series 2-1, but Worcester was looking for just the one today.

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Lancers (9-25, 8-11 MASCAC) traveled to Buzzards Bay Saturday afternoon for the final regular season games against the Mass. Maritime Buccaneers (16-19, 9-10). The Lancers took game one yesterday in Worcester by a score of 12-5 on Senior Day. FINAL GAME 1: LANCERS- 1 MASS. MARITIME- 0 GAME 2: LANCERS- 0 MASS. MARITIME- 11
Worcester, MA- In the final regular season series of the year, the Worcester State Baseball team (8-25, 7-11) are hosting Mass Maritime (16-18, 9-9) in the opening game of the three game series with post-season implications on the line. The last time these two teams met, was in the initial round of last year's MASCAC Playoffs where the Buccaneers came away with the win and an ending the Lancers are looking to flip today. This afternoon's game will also serve as the team’s senior day where they will be honoring their seven seniors, Colin Fitzgerald (Auburn, MA), Tom Halliwell (Leominster, MA), Joseph Morgan (Shrewsbury, MA), Nick Bousquet (Athol, MA), Danny DiMassimo (Pittsfield, MA), Steve Grenham (Norwood, MA), and Frankie Hernandez (Framingham, MA).
Worcester, MA- In the final non-conference battle of the regular season the Worcester State Baseball team (8-24, 7-11) journey north to take on Keene State (17-20, 6-8) in a single nine-inning battle in their mid week contest.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Lancers (8-22, 7-9 MASCAC) traveled to the North Shore where they took the field against the Salem State Vikings (16-13, 9-7 MASCAC) for today's doubleheader. Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Baseball team (8-21, 7-8) returned to conference action on Friday as they hosted the Salem State Vikings (15-13, 8-7) in their second to last conference series of the regular season. The Lancers are looking to get back into winning form after dropping a tough battle with Salve Regina on Saturday.
Worcester, MA- After a thrilling sweep yesterday over conference foes Fitchburg State, the Lancer Baseball team (8-20, 7-8) returned to action this afternoon to take on nationally ranked Salve Regina in a mid week, out-of-conference, battle. While attempting to rest themselves up for the remainder of the conference regular season, Worcester State looked to test themselves against some tough competition.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Baseball team (6-20, 5-8) jumps right back into action this afternoon as they complete their series versus the Fitchburg State Falcons (10-20, 5-8). The Falcons grabbed the opening win on Patriot’s Day but the Lancers looked to take the series in their double game battle on a sunny afternoon at Kevin D. Lyons Diamond.
