The Worcester State University baseball team has received votes in Collegiate Baseball Newspaper's 2021 Preseason Poll.
WORCESTER, Mass. - The Worcester State University baseball team has received votes in Collegiate Baseball Newspaper's 2021 Preseason Poll.
Worcester State was listed 15th in the "Receiving Votes" category, just ahead of MASCAC rival Westfield State. Cal Lutheran claimed the top spot in the poll, narrowly edging out intrastate foe Chapman University.

Worcester State had its 2020 season cut short last spring, playing just two games before being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Lancers finished the season at 1-1.
Appearances on the Collegiate Baseball Preseason Poll do not necessarily indicate that teams will compete this upcoming season. A decision on the 2021 season from the MASCAC and Worcester State University has yet to be made.
