Santos Earns Third ECAC Division III New England Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week Award
DANBURY, Conn. – Freshman guard, Alex Santos (Lawrence, Mass.) has been named the Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week for his third time this season as announced by the ECAC for the week ending Feb. 28.

DANBURY, Conn. – Freshman guard, Alex Santos (Lawrence, Mass.) has been named the Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week for his third time this season as announced by the ECAC for the week ending Feb. 28.
Santos scored a team-high 23 points with seven rebounds and six assists in the Lancers’ 91-90 overtime setback to Westfield State in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) quarterfinals.
The freshman guard finished the regular season averaging 13.8 points per game while shooting 76 percent from the free throw line.
