Olivia Antonelli Named LEC Offensive Player of the Week
Worcester State University field hockey senior Olivia Antonelli (Westford, Mass.) has been named the Little East Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.
PAWTUCKET, R.I. - Worcester State University field hockey senior Olivia Antonelli (Westford, Mass.) has been named the Little East Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.
Antonelli wrote her name in the Worcester State record books last week, becoming the field hockey program's all-time leading scorer in a 5-0 win over Castleton. She finished the week with four goals and two assists in three games as the Lancers went 2-1.
It is Antonelli's second Offensive Player of the Week Award this season, as she also won the crown on October 7.
Antonelli and the Lancers will be back on the field on Wednesday for a crucial Little East Conference matchup on the road at Keene State College. The game is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. start.
