Former Worcester State standout Mark Johnson joins the men's track and field team for his third year of on the sidelines. 

In his four years on the track, Coach Johnson was named All-MASCAC and All-Alliance numerous times which included conference championships in the Long Jump, 200 and 400 meter dashes. In 2008, coach Johnson placed fifth for All-ECAC honors in the 200 as a junior.

In his senior year, Coach Johnson was one of seven WSC athletes to capture a Division III New England Championship as he won the 200 with a time of 22.37. Later in the outdoor season, Johnson was All New England and All-ECAC in the Javelin throw with seventh and fourth place finishes at each meet. Coach Johnson is also a school record holder in the 4x200 meter relay.

A four-year starter for the men's soccer team, Coach Johnson was a first-team All-MASCAC selection in as a senior. Coach Johnson was distingushed with the Lancer Award for his leadership and dedication on and off the field.
