Brian Boyle begins his third season as the linebackers coach for Worcester State. Boyle was previously at cross-town rival WPI for nine seasons. This year he will exclusively guide the inside linebackers.

As a player at Merrimack, Boyle was a four-year starter at defensive back. After graduation, Boyle coached two seasons for the Warriors. 

A resident of West Boylston, Boyle currently serves as a superintendent for the Methuen Construction Company.  He is married to his wife Bethany and the couple has two daughters, Brooke and Elizabeth.
